On their website, dogchannel.com, they say the average Yorkie weight is 12 pounds.  All they would have to do is go to the AKC site to see that that is not true, so I don't think you can trust what they publish.
Isn't the AKC Gazette more about showing and maybe breeding?

It looks like the Gazette and Dog world are for showing and breeding.
So I wonder if AKC Family is any good and worth reading!
