I can understand that. That is the reason I do the testing. I do it when I purchase them to make sure of their purity. If a test ever comes back showing the dog is not purebred but a mix done by someone else that dog will be fixed and found a good home. Testing is done before ever breeding them to assure that i do not introduce any mix into my puppies. AKC only requires it in Males after they have been bred 3 times, so by not checking you could have a lot of puppies out there registered as pure that are not before you even found out.
