First off, you have no clue what I or anyone else here "understands." Secondly, with all the unethical breeders out there producing these dogs and marketing them as rare to turn a quick buck, it's not at all far fetched to question it. I believe there are people out there--some on this site--who have thoroughly researched their lines to prove the validity of their pedigrees. But likewise there are some people who have not and given the current "supply and demand" and ability to get a high price for them, as YOU pointed out, you'd have to be a fool NOT to question it.
(That is something not limited to just the off-color Yorkies.)
