Possibly because they are newer? It's impossible to determine long term effects on a variation of a breed when it has not been around but for a short time. From all of the breeders I've talked to who HAVE researched, there doesn't seem to be much, if any supporting evidence for the claims at this point, but it is worth considering and researching and having an understanding of for yourself, generally speaking.
