Black/gold was only very recently discluded from the standard. Many breeders add in a black/gold dog to their breeding to bring richness in color. (A practice which is not agreed upon itself, but that's another debate.) Point being, integrating the black/gold is still done with the intent of producing standard color offspring. Not the case with breeding "Golden Partis." I am sure that in time you will see less of that now that is is a disqualification....at least among some breeders.
