veguroev I'm so glad your house is ok and you got power back on !
You must be so glad to be home ...I hope you get your phones soon - its scary enough to go thru this, but to have to deal with no electricity and phones makes it so much worse....most of my apt complex has no power & there's trees in peoples front doors ....and lots of roof damage
I just got back from checking on my parents (and work)... they have no power or phones now either - (batteries died)....I finally found an open store to see if I could get them some staples - and yup - NO ice or water. They're going to try later and at least have a gas grill to cook on.
it's a war zone out there -
we see this kind of thing on the news but to see the damage in person is just unreal
....The whole city has no street lights except in small areas - but the damage is just unreal....
I'm so glad your house didn't take a hit and you're going to be ok.
