It all depends on the lines they are from and the Genes they got from their parents and ancestors.
Maggie my oldest went from Black and gold as a pup to a blond and medium silver at 1year and now at 2 years she is a dark grey with silver and a reddish gold.
My boys are just a unique mixture of their parents.
But Friday is dark. But her parents didn't get their correct colors until almost 2 yrs. her ancestors are all lighter than she is and her littermates will all be light because they started breaking color early. it's a wait and see game with these guys.
