Here they were telling people to fill up their tanks. We waited in a long line on Thursday. When we got there all of the regular pumps were empty and you were forced to buy more expensive gas. Today they said it was because of hurricane Ike and the oil being shut down. They said Chattanooga was about out of gas and two things would happen. They said until the hurricane is over and we see how much damage will be done to the oil fields nothing could be done. The other choice would be for the stations to buy the expensive gas and it would have to sell for $5 plus. They urged people to fill up their tanks (limit of l0 gallon placed at most stations), and wait out the hurricane. They said to drive as little as possible.
