I think I have to email the AFTERNOON TV News Crew now cause I have it on.... and no mention of pets.....
there really are too many people that don't give a thought to their pets that stay outside ....it breaks my heart knowing many will be left behind. They have a phrase from the last huge hurricane - "Katrina Dogs"....meaning those left behind -
I do NOT want to hear about "Houston Dogs" (and cats) on the news.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR AREA - Galveston / Freeport is already flooded and the storm is hours and hours away - I'm so worried about all of us that are 'sheltering in place' now ..It didn't seem Houston was going to be in so much trouble as of last night - today it's a totally different story.
Also ....I just heard there's a boat in the gulf with NO power ...
22 crew members right in the line of Ike - they can't even go out to help them because the danger is too much for the rescuers. Those poor men
