I was on my way to work and as I was listening to the radio the first plane struck. At first it was thought to be an accident. At the time I was working in Jersey City which is right across the river from where the towers stood. I could clearly see the smoke. By the time I got to work the second tower was struck and we now knew we were under attack. We all stood mesmerized outside looking at the burning buildings - looking in disbelief. When we saw the first buidling collapse, we panicked and we all just left to go home because we wanted to be with our families. On my way back towards my town, I was hysterical crying and looked to my left side as I was driving. At this point I saw the second building falling. These are images that will stay with me forever and I still cry when I remember.
