My husband and I took the week off work to celebrate our anniversary and we had just dropped our pups off at the groomer. When we got back in the car we heard on the car radio that a plane had just crashed into the first tower. We went home and watched the TV all day just stunned.
The weirdest thing is that we live close to a major airport and when the air traffic was stopped, there was such an eerie silence from not hearing the airplanes, it was just so so strange. I'll never forget that horrible day.
