They offered her a new replacement dog but she was so heartbroken that she declined. When it happened, I guess the girl that was grooming her ran across the street to a vet to try to same her but it was already too late.
There was no point in suing since they offered to replace. It's been a few years since this happened and I told her she should go back NOW and tell them she would like to take up that offer now that she has recovered emotionally.
