It is by making mistakes we learn.

Good results is great aslong as your dealing with a dog without any metal health concerns at all. and unless you can see it you do not know that.
Nor do I so going slow allows one to make a mistake that is not hurtful and you can not take back or change with a little work or you have not made the dog fearful.
