I think it's a puppy thing....same thing happens here even if we leave a newspaper, magazine, tv guide, etc., down within reach where they can get to it. I have seen the thing you can buy at the pet store that holds the pee pee pad in place but haven't personally tried it. Mine are about six months old now and they have slacked off on the shredding though......only happens every now and then now. Hang in there! I think it dissipates as they get older.
