Hey Twalla -- heres another place in Port A that we've stayed at. LAUGHING HORSE LODGE
They're VERY dog friendly, they even give you little tags with their motel on it for your dogs to wear while they're there & the rooms have bowls in them.
They were very cool to stay at but they weren't really walking distance to the beach (about 5 blocks away or more), so thats why we continued to stay at Seaside Motel instead.... beach was just a few steps around the corner.
