She's adorable
My two girls fell in the pool a time or two when they were little, fortunately they're never left alone so it was okay. For my peace of mind, we bought a Skamper Ramp, they sell them through the Humane Society's website. It's a plastic ramp for the pool, in case they (or a wild animal) falls into the pool, they can get themselves out. Sometimes they panic and can't find the steps, but this ramp is highly visible to them, and we trained them to always exit the pool from there, so they know where it is. It was worth it just to never have to fish another dead racoon from the pool!
Anyway, I hope the cough goes away soon!
