I put a soft rock station on the radio when we leave the house for Conner. It drowns out some of the outside noise. We don't have to worry about neighbors because they are a distance away, but I think it is more comfortable for him because it allows him to sleep and not to hear the outside noise so much (especially when the garbage man comes on Thursdays).
