He is a cute little thing. How old is this puppy? To already be around 7-10 lbs is a bit big, I think. Although, some Yorkies are just big.
If it is a pet shop puppy, then you will want to consider this purchase more of a rescue. I'd get the puppy to the vet right away and make sure you get started on any meds that might be needed.
