We vaccinate our own for a few reasons.... saves money for both the buyer and us, insures puppies are fully vaccinated prior to being placed in new homes (decreasing the risk of exposure), give buyers the option of having additional vaccinations needed done here for free rather than the additional expense at the vet. It just helps everyone out. Breeders who have established good relationships with several vets in their area generally have no problem. Most of the vets in the area recognize our "health care card" the buyer gives them and use it to record everything needed. Re-vaccinating is both self-serving (as there are quick test to see if the puppy has been vaccinated properly) and a general concern to me.
