I totally understand you! I got my "designer dog" at PetsMart one Saturday when I saw him all lonely and scared in the very back in a pen from the Humane Society and let me tell you that is the BEST dog I've ever had. And he only cost me $40. And if I had to, I would have paid more. But yeah. I work in a grooming shop/boutique and we have people come in with their new "designer dogs" such as the just now popular golden-doodle that they paid hundreds for. I don't get it. lol Of course I'm sure Rescue people look at us the same way. Why pay so much money for these purebreds and keep people breeding when we can rescue some poor soul's life? It kinda goes both ways. Either way, in my heart, I love my yorkie and my "mutt" just the same. I wouldn't trade one for the other
