Mine had a cut eye once, and it healed with no problems using the meds the dr. gave. But it took extra meds. It was almost healed by the time we finished the first, so we got a refill. Sometimes they are scratching their eyes and they hit it with a dew claw he said (mine's declawed) and he said blades of grass can cut them or they get dust in their eyes just like us and it just scratches it. It hurts us, it hurts them. I'm sorry your baby has only one good eye to start with. That's rough, but I think once he's on the meds a couple of days and it stops hurting him (and it does hurt) he'll settle down and can see through it again.l

The vet told me that it keeps it teared up and they see double or something and it makes them scared to move until it starts to heal. You are doing all the right things. BEst of luck.
