I don't know anything, but Zowie gets a sort of rash down her backbone. It is so mild, but I brush away scabby things, and bathe her, then I spray on some very mild (neutrogena-t-gel) stay in overnight treatment for dandruff. That clears it right up. If I spray her every week, it stays gone. But I usually forget after a couple of weeks.
