Is he neutered? Is he home alone for long periods of time?

They do tend to 'regress' with potty, so go back to basics and use a really good treat - that you give for 'good' potty only. Also, I would take him for a good 15 to 20 min walk, every morning, he may be bored and this walk every morning will give him the extra attention and also give him exercise and stimuli to tire him out and not allow him to do bad things from bordum during the day.

If he is not neutered, I would suggest you get him fixed asap. As he may be marking - plus it is actually healthy for him to be neutered, less chance of cancer.
