Hi! Welcome to YT. I think your best bet would be to call the vet office back and ask for more direction on what you can do, what you can expect to happen, what red flags to look out for. No matter how trivial my concerns may be, my vet is always interested in my concerns and tries hard to put my fears, real or irrational, to rest. He'll spend however much time he needs to answer all my questions. And the office follows up with calls to see how things are going. Perhaps they are waiting for the results of the tests to come back, but you can still call with an update and ask for more direction.
