That is exactly it! They are just jealous and wish that someone paid just as much attention and spoiled them as much as our little ones are - and I tell people too! Like my dad for example... he doesn't say mean or rude comments about my dog, but he does say stuff like "why do you do that, he's just a dog?!?" And my reply is to don't be a hater, or don't be jealous... cause that's basically what it boils down too. Just shrug it off, make a a little joke like that one member said (about taking after his side! lol) and then tell him he can stop being jealous of the furbabies and pat him on the head and tell him you love him too! Haha! Just don't give him the satisfaction of getting all riled up.
