I have that tribute saved on my computer because whenever i am feeling down and feel like i am losing hope I play it and realize how stupid my problems are compared to what all of those people faced... Being from NJ and having the NY skyline in my backyard made it hit close to home... 9/11/01 was my sisters first day at NYU.. She was in her dorm gettign dressed and she saw the first plane crash and then she saw the 2nd one.. My mom was on her way into the city to visit her.. I was up in Springfield Massachuettues doing my Student Teaching.. The principal told me that a blimp hit the twin towers and then like 40 mins later he told me we were under attack.. I had to be calm in the classroom but it was the hardest thing being there knowing my family was near NY... A day later, I realized one of my students (during my student teaching) wound up losing her mom in one of the plane crashes.. (Springfield is about 1.5 hours from Boston and her mom was flying for business).. This was a day our nation will never forget!! I just hope we make a full recovery!! God bless all of the victims and families of the victims!! We will never be forgotten
