 Inside & Outside Potty Training
Hello Everyone! I have a precious little girl that is 12 weeks old that I have had for almost a week now. I have been taking her outside to go potty, but am unsure what to do about her during the day while I am at work. I bought a very large kennel crate(for big dogs) took the tray out and put the crate on the grass so she could stay outside & safe during the day while I am at work and still be able to go potty on the grass. I was planning on putting her small kennel in there so she would still have her den to go to. Of course today it is a downpour so I couldn't leave her. I am now wondering if I should keep her in the utility room with puppy pads while I am at work? Is it confusing for them to go on the pads during the day and outside in the evenings and weekends?? Ideally I would like for her to always go outside but I am now seeing that the puppy pads might have to be option during the day. Help?? |
