I picked out Royal Canin for Chewie because of its poop odor inhibitors. It turned out that he was allergic to something in it because he got super itchy. I made posts on here and to my surprise, that was a common outcome of dogs that ate that food. Chewie has never seemed to exhibit allergies to anything and he started out eating crappy food with corn and all sorts of mess in it that I eventually found out wasn't good for him. It wasn't until he started on RC that he started getting the major itchies. He didn't start itching until about a week or so into feeding it to him.
