I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my 17 year old cat a couple of years ago, I was devastated. I went to rainbowsbridge.com. There they have a wonderful support group. There is no charge to join. If you want to donate, you can create a virtual memorial for your fur baby. It really helped me to be able to go there and visit him. It's just a darn hard process that takes a lot of time to work through. You never forget them, who would want to? Here is the link to my Sampson at Rainbows Bridge if you want to see an example.
