I bathed my two yorkies at that age. They were 1 pound 4oz, and 1 pound 1oz at 8 weeks. I'm not sure how big your baby is but I would be really careful not to let her get to hot or to cold if you do bathe her. If you have a "tiny" yorkie that might be why the breeder might want you to wait, because they can use up alot of energy trying to maintain their body temperature. Little ones just have smaller reserves to draw on. You can alway use a warm wet wash rag to clean her up. Its warm enough out here this week she should dry quickly.
