I agree. I have worked at kennels and vet clinics, all of which had groomers there and I do not agree with cage drying. I would say the majority of groomers out there use it at some point or another especially for bigger, shaggier breeds like Newfies and St.Bernards who take hours just to dry. The kennel I worked for would do hand-drying first until most of the way dry and then do cage-drying at half an hour AT MOST and then start grooming the dog. If the dog wasn't dry yet, they'd do hand drying again. There was only one guy I ever saw them let stand there and watch his tiny Maltese be groomed. That was probably the best place to have your dog groomed. Ever since I moved though I can't find another groomer half as good. I'll keep looking though.
