OMG - I totally agree - CAGE dryers are killers and we probably don't hear all the stories about the deaths or heatstroke due to them.
With 2 girls - I am STILL looking for the right groomer - I did drive around with Chanel with me one day cold calling on groomers to see how SHE reacted to them and to look at their shops. I settled on one woman who I really do like - but she didn't do the top notch job I had hoped... but I DO trust her - I'd rather have TRUST than a great haircut by a too busy groomer -
Some groomers are assembly lines and many dogs are left alone or not watched carefully - When I went sneaking in while my girls were being groomed I saw they were being well cared for -
To me an Interview is a good way to go - I would go check out different places BEFORE making an appointment - We are on Groomer #5 and I'm still looking ....but in the meantime - I do my girls myself |
