Use neosporin until the skin has healed back together, then begin using maderma with spf 3-4 times DAILY for I believe 2-3 months. You could also have a plastic surgeon look at it and they can give you a prescription for scarring cream. Maderma SPF is great though. You want the SPF to protect from the sun harming the scar
