Please don't trust your baby without a leash. I was having the same problem with my puppy. When she had the harness on she would just freeze and not move. So the trainer in the puppy class said at first to walk behind her and gently nudge her with your feet when she stops. So far that has worked well for me. She now is starting to walk forward without my nudging. Plenty of time to teach her the proper way to walk on the leash once this is accommplished. |
