 question on dewormers
OK, I called my vet and he do not sell dewormers. Go figure. They did say, however, they do not recommend deworming pups til they are at least 6 weeks old and especially if the pup is sick as the dewormer could cause loss of appetite, diarrehea etc.
I checked the web sites for both Panacur and Safeguard and they more or less the same. The other problem is my baby is only 14.6 ounces and they suggest the pup should be at least 5 pounds.
Does anyone deworm their pups at 5 weeks and less than one pound? If so what do you use? |
