M nephew who is like a younger brother to me.. brought up three children from young babies.. with a yorkie.. that dog died of old age.. I do not worry about the children.. I worry about the parents.. for they are who makes it a good home for both their children and there pets..It is no guarantee that due to having children means a yorkie is not meant for you.. my grandsons.. both of them grew up with my dogs.. sleeping with them, falling asleep on the carpet with a yorkie cuddled to them.. my youngest grandson now 14 years old is the most gentle child in this world with yorkies..he was taught how to hold them.. when not to hold them, and how to walk when they are on the floor..My sister had the brother to her son's yorkie, and again her grandchildren were always there at her house, or she was at their house with her yorkie.. the two dogs. always knew each other and were glad to be together..
my opinion only... anne
So true! I have one daughter but I have neighbor kids in the house all the time. So having one child doesnt mean they wont be exposed to alot of kids because mine are
