Kim, try not to think about the negative things. Think of how healthy she's going to be and how much love you're going to shower her with and how many happy years you'll all spend together!
I think I'd have him check her legs (I'm not really sure how old they would be when any problems might show up, but just in case) and her trachea (I think there's a way they can tell if they're prone to collapsing trachea).
