I was really concerned about vaccinations after reading everything that has been said here on YT, but I was really happy that our vet brought it up before I did. Ella will be getting the standard shots (spaced out--no more than one shot at a time) for the first year, then her rabies will go to 3 years. She'll get one or two more rounds of boosters, then the vet will check her blood (I think she called it tithers??) to see the antibody level she has. If she still has the necessary antibodies, then no more shots! |
