My husband has been to Alabama when OU plays & of course been around the C R A Z Y Bama fans when playing in Norman. We have great respect for your fans & do cheer for Bama EXCEPT when OU is playing them!
It is amazing how bad some fans can be - but Alabama has always been great! (& I'm not saying OU doesn't have plenty of obnoxious fans as well
) I think I help bring my husband back to reality a little by telling him football is JUST a game - then kindly remind him of some of the REAL tragedies going on in the world! Some people go into a state of depression when OU loses - we are disappointed but can quickly move on with life! (I am almost 50 years old & my dad played for OU in the '30's! - so we are lifelong fans!)
