That is exactly what I do. I wash Codie and Katie at home and clip their nails (because I am VERY picky about cutting their nails -- I never cut them and/or make them bleed). I only allow the groomer to trim all their hair and remove the hair from inside their ears (and express anal sac, if necessary). I also stay the ENTIRE time my dogs are being worked on and I watch the whole process (just to be sure my babies are being treated gently). I don't trust anyone when it comes to my dogs.
