Oh, I'm so sorry this happened to you, I know it so exciting getting a puppy, but those were all great questions, when someone makes you feel this way trust your gut feelings about it. I learned the hard way that buying a dog from a back yard breeder can be a very expensive proposition. Vet's don't come cheaply these days, and you often don't find out the dog has a genetic illness until it's two years old, and you are thoroughly in love with him. If you feel like you can offer a good home to a pet, find a breeder who values this fact, many breeders are more interested in placing their dogs in a good home than making a profit. |
