I'm the one who posted about the 7lb yorkie earlier... Well I had e-mailed the lady earlier in the morning asking if they still had him but had Matt (my husband) call early this afternoon because she hadn't replied and I wanted to try to get him and didn't want too much time to pass. He didn't tell her I had emailed as I even forgot to tell him. Well he basically just found out if they still had him, and asked about weight and such and then he said we would talk and he would call back later sometime.

Well a few hours after that she emailed me back basically saying they still had him but they had, had several people call/email. I decided to email back (not feeling it important that I tell her my husband was the one who called earlier) to find out some info that my husband didn't on the phone.

This is what I asked:

Were any of the calls/emails serious inquiries? If so how long are you giving them to respond back saying if they want him? I have a few questions about him. Is he purebred? Is he up to date on all shots and has been given a clean bill of health? Also do you own both the mother and the father? I'm curious because I am wondering if parents have been through a thorough health check. Is your Kennel Registered?

So yes it was a lot of questions, but all valid I think.... this was her reply...

yes he is pure parents are pure not going thru a million questions for a pup well worth more than asking . having lots o f illness on my husband ... first come first serve ..............................------------------------------

I felt it was so rude! I opened the email and was taken aback. I almost felt like crying because up until this point I was getting really excited about this puppy and was starting to get my hopes up (he is the last on in his litter so his price was reduced to something we could afford). There is no way I am going to purchase the dog from her now. I feel like she talked to me like I was stupid for asking questions. I don't care if the dog was $50 aren't those valid questions?

Was I wrong in the questions I asked? Am I just being emotional because I got excited about the puppy and maybe she isn't really being that rude?
