Also, someone said paying high prices like $3000 or $5000 is ridiculus, what if that particular dog was a show champion or had a pedigree full of champions whether it was AKC or UKC champs...wouldn't it be worthy of a higher dollar than your standard everyday yorky? Some yorkies are not as quality as others, and I understand everyone sees something different in there dog...but that is why we have a STANDARD.
And, what about the prices there getting for the "BIEWER" or "PARTI" yorkie? Also, what about yourselves selling them for so much $$$, if $$$ isn't a factor in the equation, then I want someone to sell me a BIEWER for pennies on the dollar and have it be full of champs and Reg. with a standard registry...not one that is like APRI?
Everyone out there breeding is breeding to sell pups at a reasonable price for what the market is calling for, if not, then they would be selling them for pennies on the $$. Instead of asking $1000 for a female then they would sell it for $200 and etc. Its human nature to want what is a fair price.
Just some more food for thought.... |
if you have never experienced breeding, then it would be a real eye opener to
estimate the value of a puppy.. minimum 1200 each to cover the time and investments needed.. all puppies of any type, designer or purebreed
all valued the same imo i wish i could locate homes who could afford it..
the value is in the health and vitalty of the dogs..but most people dont have a CLUE.. they still go to petland and pay for puppymill puppies..
all the puppy lovers need to get some new laws to ban puppymills.
then reputable breeders will be in demand .. and the bitches in slavery can be set free..
