I'm in the process of changing over to wellness. They were on eagle pack holistic select and it's great food. The only downfall is dried beet pulp. My shih poo has terrible reddish brown tears. So I'm changing to wellness simple solution duck and rice. The only difference is there is a little chicken meal in the new food. Otis has been more itchy lately. He was diagnosed with "hay fever' last year. So here's my predicament. I don't know if it's his allergies acting up because of the time of the year, or the new wellness food. I've heard that food allergies will not show up for 4 weeks or so. It's been about a week and they are still not on straight wellness. I change over slowly because of his belly. This is a good question, O.P.
