Our African Grey Sam loves to torture our Yorkie. He's so smart, like most greys and knows dozens of words and phrases, not to mention microwave timers, cell phone beeps, and creaking doors. He will call her name, tell her "good girl" or "no no." He loves to stand on the apron on the bottom edge of the cage and the two of them play "chicken" Here's a pic of that. But then, sometimes he loses his balance and falls to the floor, and Selah pounces on him and he starts quacking. Oh, it's a zoo. I don't know if they just love to play together that way (they are about the same size) or if they just love watching my husband and I flip out when its time to separate the two of them. |
