Plexiglass is a great idea the only problem is...I eventually get home and have to disassemble this whole catastrophe of gates... Any recommendations on how I should attach the plexiglass in a way that's removable?

I would take a drill and make small hole and use zip ties. But you also will not need 2 gates either. I can't image that he would be able to get over 1 gate with the plexiglass. I'm sure that you could go to either the hardware store or Home Depot and they will cut it to fit.
There is also a gate you can buy that has the plexiglass already built in but when you read the reviews it does not seem very sturdy.
