I think you need to trust your instincts on this important decision. If you feel any hesitation at all about this vet or the office staff, you need to do the right thing by your pup and switch. Like others have said, its not too hard to get the paperwork moved over, and you want to feel totally trusting of the person who is a key connection between you and your pup's health.

Although I've only had girl pups, from what I understand its a good thing that the vet wants to keep him around all day to keep an eye on him.
