What is your vet's neuter/spay procedure? I am trying to take a poll to see what some of your vets neuter procedures are.
Wall-E is almost 5 months old and he's starting to mark our furniture so I figure that now is a good time to get him neutered. When I called me vet, they said I need to drop him off in the morning and leave him there all day eventhough the procedure takes only 20 minutes. I'm okay with this because I work during the day anyway, so it works better for my shcedule but at the same time I want to make sure this sounds normal. This is the same vet that I took Wall-E to get his vaccinations and eventhough I specifically requested that they administer the shots in front of me, they still took him to the back room to do it- which was really frustrating, so I'm thinking of switching vets but since they have all of Wall-E's paperwork on file, I might just get him neutured there. ANy thoughts? As long as I can confirm that an allday neuter stay is "normal" then I'll do it at this place... thanks for the help! |
