I have had Jockey now for about 5-6 weeks. He is 5 1/2 months old and is absolutely adorable. I gradually changed his food from Nature's Balance (that the Breeder was feeding him) to Innova which is what my other pup is currently eating. He loves the food and I thought all is well. Now, I'm not so sure. Since I have had him he has never had a firm healthy stool like my other pup and I am wondering if this is the food that I am feeding him? I know that Innova is one of the better puppy foods and I have a large bag of it but I need some advice and want to know if that could be the culprit. Should I change him to another food?

I know that there are other threads on similar issues but I haven't found one that is giving me the answer that pertains to his particular situation. I also have him in an obedience class, which as you know requires treats as incentives.....he is doing great but I also thought the various treats may be the issue, so now I only give him the blandest of the treats.

He does not have diarrhea but it is mushy and sometime a gooey gelatin type substance follows. Any words of wisdom would be so appreciated. Thank you in advance.
