Whew , I'm new here too and I am so glad I found this place!!! My little Kai (shes's 12 1/2 weeks old) LOVES to bite , and drags herself along attached to my pant leg and is constentley untieing my shoe , and hiding them also. I am trying the NO bite and yelping thing , I have also put my hand around her mouth and said no bite. This is the first yorkie I have owned , My parents had one when I was a teen and I loved him , but I had not part in the training , I am so glad to find other people with the same problems!!!! I am crate training her also. I work 8-10 hours a day but I come home every break to let her out to potty and play. The week is not a problem for me it's the weekends and day's off , because I hate putting her in her crate when im home!!! I guess I just need to be more wacthful and repeat the outside trips more frequentley!!! I am just so glad to see it's not only my pup with these "habits!!" |
